Interreg project ConnectSME zet 29 succesvolle cleantech innovaties op weg voor marktintroductie.

Tijdens de demonstratiebeurs van het grensoverschrijdend project ConnectSME, gericht op het versnellen van cleantech innovatie in de grensregio Vlaanderen en Nederland, werden 29 succesvolle technologieën voorgesteld die kunnen bijdragen tot het behalen van de gezamenlijke klimaatdoelstellingen. De producten zijn zowel voor particulier als zakelijk gebruik en gaan van batterijopslag tot waterbesparing en van slimme laadoplossingen voor EV’s tot toegankelijke windturbines.

Very happy to have welcomed over 500 visitors to the #ConnectSME demo days, showcasing the prototypes by AQUABATTERY & Airturb with the wonderful interlude of Suskewiet Visions by Filip Vandingenen & David Shongo , an artwork reflecting on biodiversity and the relationship between humankind & nature, the realisation of a 6-month long STARTSresidency at Snowball with partners Gluon and Leiedal.

We were happy & honored to see many people at the premiere of RETOOL, the 3rd and final exhibition of the S+T+ARTS Repairing the Present exhibition series as curated by Manuel Cirauqui.
As the coordinator of the S+T+ARTS Repairing the Present consortium and representing the team that evening, Snowball was invited to give a bit of context to this exhibition, its purpose and its coming about.

:REWORLD :REWILD :RETOOL triptych of exhibitions to repair the present.

Studio Above&Below’s artwork ‘Entangled Landscapes’ makes soil quality visible in an interactive way. This first prototype is part of a triptych of exhibitions :REWORLD :REWILD :RETOOL that will take place this autumn at MEET in Milan, at MAXXI in Rome and ZKM in Karlsruhe, a triptych curated by Manuel Cirauqui.

Premiere ‘Entangled Landscapes’

On the 27th of August ‘Entangled landscapes’ premiered at Spiere-Helkijn’s old swimming pool.
Snowball co-founder and Managing Director Alexandra Vanhuyse explained the STARTS project as well as the role of the artwork in achieving its goals.
