Celebrating the Spirit of Giving: Snowball Christmas Market

On December 15th, we hosted a heartwarming Christmas market that brought our cleantech community together in the true spirit of the season. Each of our residents participated by setting up a booth, and every penny raised went to support various charitable causes.

Resident Smappee sold delicious, homemade cookies at their booth. In a generous move, Smappee doubled the funds raised and donated that amount to Natuurpunt, a Belgian organization dedicated to preserving nature and wildlife. Their contribution will help support Natuurpunt’s ongoing efforts to protect natural areas and the environment.

Loud and Clear delighted our residents with their festive Christmas Bark. The proceeds from their booth went to Go Forest, a dynamic organization focused on reforestation efforts. Thanks to their contribution, 32 new trees were planted, helping to combat deforestation and promote a greener future.

At the Tonickx booth, creativity met sustainability. They sold samples of their products and showcased their commitment to recycling by transforming materials into beautiful toiletry and computer bags. All funds raised were donated to Heart for the Brain, an organization committed to supporting brain tumor research.

Ellie Connect encouraged their visitors to donate old pairs of jeans. These jeans are repurposed into vibrant, colorful socks, blending fashion with sustainability. This initiative not only supports recycling but also promotes a circular economy, reducing waste and giving old materials a new life.

The Christmas market was more than just a fundraising event; it was a unique opportunity for our residents to connect, share their passions, and work together for the greater good.
